Past Events

Our first monthly IBD event was a huge success! Morgan Check taught a thorough gentle yoga class to patients, caregivers, and anyone affected by IBD with live music provided by Abri Bernstein.

Rock the Night is an annual fundraising event to support Crohn's and Colitis Research.  Great rock music along with a silent auction, good food and lively cocktails, make for an inspirational and fun evening.

Chip in for Crohn's

Golf Tournament

Chip in for Crohn's golf tournament is a fun afternoon of friends, family, and supporters that come together to play golf and raise funds for IBD. The event has raised over $100,000 since its inception in 2014. The Nordquist family has made a commitment to making the event fun for all while raising money for important IBD research.

This has been a great addition to our events and fundraising because it offers a fun way for people to support IBD research while accomplishing a personal goal of running a full or half marathon. The LA Marathon Charity Challenge starts at Dodger Stadium and shares the marathon course to the finish in Century City. The half marathon is only open to charity runners and is limited to 1100 participants.

Growth Through Performance Piano Recital is an annual children’s piano recital with Shilla Hekmat Music Academy. The families of the students generously support CtoC by making a donation for their child to perform or sponsoring the event. There is classical, popular, jazz pieces, and more, and many of the students sing as well as play piano. Our annual piano recitals have raised over $150,000 for CtoC. Thank you everyone for your support!

Other Events

We had our last Mingle Sale in June of 2022 as Rachel Roberts, founder of Mingle Jewelry, closed her business to focus on her retail specialty plant shop in Austin, TX. Everyone enjoyed a relaxing yoga class as well. A portion of the proceeds benefitted CtoC. Thank you to Rachel for supporting us over the years!
