Make A Difference
Connecting to Cure Crohn’s and Colitis (CtoC) was founded in 2011 by Stacy Dylan and Dana Zatulove. Our mission is to unite and support the Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Community, amplify awareness about the gravity of IBD, raise crucial funds, and foster meaningful connections among those affected by these chronic and incurable diseases.
Building a Stronger IBD Community
Beyond our commitment to medical research funding, our CONNECTIONS programs provide essential complementary and emotional support to our patient and caregiver communities. Our CONNECTIONS initiatives encompass support groups, mentorship programs, and restorative activities designed to manage symptoms, optimize patient health, enhance patient and caregiver quality of life, and connect with others.
Our Impact on the IBD Community
Through our dedicated efforts, we’ve significantly contributed to advancing our understanding of the causes and treatments of Inflammatory Bowel Diseases, and developed unique programming designed to empower patients and families, and facilitate meaningful connections within the IBD Community.
ADVANCING RESEARCH
We direct funds to esteemed institutions like The Susan and Leonard Feinstein Inflammatory Bowel Disease Clinical Center at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Program at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, and The Inflammatory Bowel Disease Program at Mayo Clinic. Our efforts are driving breakthrough research across the disease’s lifecycle, shedding light on its development in both children and adults.
SUPPORTING PATIENTS
We ease the financial burden on families dealing with the costs associated with their child’s IBD treatment at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA). We are a proud sponsor of the Painted Turtle Camp in Lake Hughes, California for kids and teens, ages 7 to 16, with IBD. Campers and their families attend free of charge.
